Biblical  Counseling

Our Biblical counselors are highly trained and certified.  They will help you apply God's truth to life's struggles, for your good and His glory. Biblical counseling is offered free of charge.

People 18 and over must reach out and make an appointment for themselves. Do not fill out forms for another adult unless you are their legally appointed conservator. Documents of conservatorship must be provided.

What You Need To Know

What to Expect:
We will do our best to give you an estimated wait time based on the number of potential clients in front of you.  A counselor will contact you when it is time to schedule your session.  We will contact you from the waitlist in chronological order.  When a counselor closes one client they will open another from the waitlist.

FAQ'S

  • What types of counseling do you offer?

    • ​Individual, Couples/Marriage, Adolescent and Family  

  • Do I have to attend Northlake Church to receive services?

    • ​No, we are open to everyone on the North Shore. 

  •  What does the first session look like?

    • ​The initial assessment will discuss confidentiality, your history and goals for treatment. 

  • Do you take insurance?

    • At this time we do not accept insurance. We offer a reduced fee schedule often cheaper than a co-pay. 

  • How often and how long will I meet with a counselor? 

    • You and your counselor will collaboratively decide what is best for you. However, we can ballpark 10-12 sessions. 

  • Can I make an appointment for someone else?

    • The only people that can be scheduled on behalf of someone else are minors. We strongly encourage that all clients are voluntarily invested in therapy for the best outcome.
