Meet Our Team
My name is Daphne Zuniga, and I am so honored to be the Executive Director at the Hope Center! I am an author, speaker and results-driven business professional with a history of success as an entrepreneur, consultant and non-profit executive. I have been a mentor and business coach for over 35 years. My husband, Paul, and I have been married for 30 years and have two children, David and Avery. I recently released my first book titled Take Me Deeper Still, 40 Days to a Closer Walk with God.

My name is Suzanne Taylor, and I am so honored to be the Director of Programs at the Hope Center! My background includes 31 years in the Texas Public Schools - 13 years in the elementary, 2 years in the Middle School, and 16 years in the High School arena. I have also taught and worked with teachers, administrators, and staff with higher learning. Along the way I have facilitated marriage classes, bible studies, and women's retreats. My husband, Stu, and I have been married for 36 years and have two children, a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law and seven grandchildren. Director of Crisis
My name is Lori Nutter and I am so honored to be the Director of Crisis Care! I have been volunteering with the Hope Center since October 2021. Prior to this, I worked at Community Connect in New Mexico for 5 years. I love serving our community and look forward to building our Crisis Care Department to further meet the needs of our community.
Project Mentor Director
My name is Melissa Teal, and I am so honored to be the Project Mentor Director for the Lago Independent School District! Project Mentor is a school based mentoring program that matches men and women in the community with youth in the LVISD schools. Once matched these mentors and students meet and have lunch together for 30 minutes once a week. At its most basic level mentoring helps because it guarantees a young person that there is someone who cares about them. A child is not alone in dealing with day-to-day challenges.
Counseling Administrative Assistant
My name is Carla Olson, and I am honored to be the counseling administrative assistant. I have over 26 years of experience in counseling administration. Previous to moving to Lago Vista, I was the office administrator for 5 Christian counselors in Minnesota. My husband, Mark, and I moved to Texas 10 years ago to be near our 2 children and their families. We have 7 grandchildren and are expecting our first great grandchild in August.
Director of Counseling
My name is Becky Bostic, and I am so honored to be the Director of Counseling at the Hope Center! Whether you have been in counseling before or never stepped foot in a counseling office my goal is to make this a space and time that you value and look forward to. We will work collaboratively to reach your goals and provide you with tools you can take into your day to day life. My primary focus is on anxiety, depression, couple's counseling, and veterans/first responders.
My name is Kelly McDaniel, and I am a biblical counselor at the Hope Center! Over the last several years, it has been my honor to sit across from many women, ministering to their hearts through hardship, grief, broken relationships, trauma, and more. Through this experience, I have witnessed firsthand the redeeming power of the Gospel through biblical counseling. Applying God's truth to life's struggles is transformative from the inside out. I received my M.A. in Biblical Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and am currently pursuing further certifications. My husband and I live in Jonestown and have four adult sons, three daughters-in-law, and one grandson. I would love to hear from you and serve you at the Hope Center!
